Highlight’s new Fall line of backpacks come with a fun, creative twist! Kids can use the Patchables featured on the Pink and Blue Backpack sets to create a unique look. Their parents love that their kid’s backpack set comes with everything they need at school!
It was fun designing these unique backpack concepts for the Highlight’s brand and coming up with various patch ideas so kids could have the most mix-and-match options! My favorite moment was adding a silly “pizza pouch” twist to the shark backpack.
While working on this project with the Highlight’s product team, concepts for each backpack were passed to me by the project manager. Then, we worked through various design iterations to refine my designs for each backpack. We explored different colors, patterns, patch shapes, and accessories for each concept.
After the team received samples from their vendors, we continued to fine tune each backpack to make sure the look and function was perfected. Continue to scroll to see the final details of each product!
